Welcome to the show today and I am ever excited for this episode. Today, we welcome the co-founder of Empire Flippers, Justin Cooke to the show! I have known about Justin and his company for some time now and I’ve had the opportunity to watch Empire Flippers grow over the past few years.  Currently, Justin and his team have sold over $35,000,000 in online businesses. Ep.277 ~ Digital Detox Camp ~ Brazil 2018

January 10, 2018

Hey listeners, thanks for tuning in once again. We have a special episode today where we chat about our upcoming event...Digital Detox Camp coming this Feb. 2018 in Brazil.  We are joined by four incredible people, three of which are co-producers of the camp June Bui, Marcelle Bottini, and Jeremy Ginsburg. In the middle of the show, Ana Marqes joins us. Ana might be considered a professional digital detoxer spending up to 3 months at a time offline. We caught up with her while she was on six-month adventure working on farms in SE Asia just using the internet once or twice a week.  She is currently writing a book about digital detoxing and we got some insight on how powerful these experiences can be. We first chat first with Jeremy and June to learn why digital detoxes are so important and what are some of the activities that will happen at the camp.  And last but certainly not least we speak with the mastermind behind the event Marcelle Bottini as she shares about the campgrounds and some specific details on what to expect during the event.

January 4, 2018

Russ Perry ~ Current Series: 100 Interviews with 100 Location-Independent Entrepreneurs that have over $1,000,000 in Annual Revenue

Today listeners, we are honored to have with us the founder of an incredible business and business model, Russ Perry. Russ founded Design Pickle a graphic design business just three years ago and built it into a business that already produces half a million dollars a month.  Design Pickle has approximately 125 employees working with them, mostly all remote and Russ is here to share what has made the business so successful.

On the show, Russ will share about hitting rock bottom as an entrepreneur and as a person. He shares how he came face-to-face with transparency and why it was the only way for him to move forward.  I ask Russ about the simplicity of the Design Pickle model and why he chose a one-tier pricing structure. Towards the end of the show, Russ will talk about building an incredibly successful location independent business model.

“I was never going to make the mistake again of accepting a business or an idea that didn’t serve me first, and wasn’t some sort of delayed payoff bet that people tend to make.” Russ Perry
